E.C. Powell 9' 2/2 #6 C-Taper Hollowbuilt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a E.C. Powell 9' 6wt 2/2 C-Taper bamboo rod. Made by E.C. Powell. Semi-hollowbuilt. The rod is in excellent++ restored condition. All sections are full length and straight. The rod has been masterfully restored and has been fished very sparingly since. Coppery golden wraps with full intermediates, beige and black tipping at the hook-keeper. Bright guides. The patent number script on the butt remains as clean and bold as the day is was written. Brass, ring hook-keeper. The grip is moderately soiled, and also has a few small dents throughout but nothing to cause concern in any way. Bright aluminum, up-locking reel seat with a handsome bakelite spacer. The bright nickel silver ferrules are size 16/64 and feature indented witness marks. The fit is perfect. The rod weighs in at 5.05 oz. The action is medium-fast and this rod is a casting machine.....a DT6 just zips through the guides! The tips are thin and delicate enough to softly present a dry fly to a distant riser.
