For sale here is an Everett Garrison Model 209-M bamboo rod in an extremely scarce 8'6" 3/2 format. I believe this rod to be unique given the length and three-piece format. Hoagy Carmichael has informed me that this is possibly one of two Model 209 rods in a three-piece format ever made by Garrison. Serial X-85-1 dates the rod to 1954. The Super Z ferrules are 13/64 and 19/64. The rod weighs 4 3/4 oz. and is in excellent+ condition. One of the tips has the slightest of casting sets in it and the varnish shows some age and very slight chips, none of which is troublesome. Don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
