For sale here is an Everett Garrison Model 218 bamboo rod in very good plus condition. Serial B-86-2, made in the late 50's. Super Z ferrules. Mr. Hoagy Carmichael Jr. verified that the interesting reel seat spacer and components are original. The rod's finish and wraps also appear original. The rod comes with two tips, one short by 3/4". The rod actually measures 8'7" fully assembled with the full-length tip. This full length tip is missing its silk wraps at the tip top, which is also loose. The short fixed extension butt measures two inches in length. The rod weighs 5 3/4 oz. and the ferrules are size 15/64. Comes with original bag and tube but the tube cap is missing. A very scarce and fine Garrison rod that just needs a little tidying up.
