For sale here is a FE Thomas Dirigo Bamboo Rod - 9' 3/2 for a 6 or 7 weight. The triangle stamping on the end of the butt cap dates the rod to 1937. Cap and ring seat, cigar grip, dark maroon silks with three wraps of green silk at the male ferrules and winding check. Ferrules are size 12/64 and 18/64. The rod appears original with the exception of a reset of the female ferrule on the butt section (performed by Mike Clark). Excellent overall condition. The grip is not ridged but is well-soiled. Comes with original bag and tube. The rod weighs 5 oz.
