For sale here is a Gary Howells bamboo rod in excellent++ condition - 8 feet for a 5 weight in the standard 2/2 format, labeled 3 7/8 oz. Serial number 4640 delivered in 1980. This rod has been fished very little and well taken care of. Carbide stripping guide, wrapped in brown thread with gold trim. Payne style cork grip, uplocking reel seat with gorgeous zebra spacer. Includes original red bag and labeled aluminum tube. Label is in excellent condition as well. Varnish is in excellent condition. All rods sections are straight. No issues to note with this rod.
