For sale here is a Hardy CC DeFrance 6'10" bamboo fly rod for a five weight line. Two sections with one tip, as was typical with the CC De France rods. The rod is in excellent+ condition. Serial H24272 made in 1959. Blonde cane. English reverse twist snake guides, agate stripper and tip-top, oxidized brass ferrules, small cigar grip, bright aluminum cap and ring, dark crimson silks with full intermediates. Fast dry fly action. All sections are full-length and straight. The tip is shorter than the butt (these rods were made that way). Ferrule fit is great and pop when pulled apart. Ferrule size 13/64. Rod weighs 3 oz. Comes with original bag and tube. A great short dry-fly rod for tight streams and willow tunnels.
