For sale here is a very nice example of Hardy's "hollow built" split cane trout rod - the Hollokona "Hollolight". Three sections with one tip. The rod is in excellent condition. The male ferrule silks on the mid-section were re-wrapped by South Creek Ltd. Light colored cane with gold silks, black tips and full intermediate wraps all in excellent condition. Gold anodized sliding ring and 'W' fitting and alloy stoppers. Cigar shaped cork grip in great condition. Serial number H32950 made in 1960. The rod has medium-fast dry fly action for a 5 weight although it would be comfortable with a 6 as well. The rod weighs 4 3/8 oz. The ferrule sizes are 12/64 and 17/64 with original ferrule plugs. Great ferrule fit. Comes with its original canvas bag and no tube. Nice all-around trout rod!
