The rod was re-wrapped and re-varnished by Hardy Bros. The original intermediates remain on the mid and both tips. Medium blonde cane, handsome brick colored agate stripper, oxidized brass ferrules. U-shaped hook keeper. Half wells grip only lightly soiled (thanks Lars!). Bright aluminum cap and ring reel seat with a cork spacer. Ferrule sizes 11/64 and 16/64, the fit is very nice. Bright aluminum sculpted ferrule plug for the mid section, the butt section ferrule plug is not present. The rod weighs 4.30 oz. The action is more on the medium side of medium-fast, perfect all-around balanced rod action. Includes presumably the original rod bag with very interesting camouflage print and pocket for ferrule plug when not in use, and original tube.
