A fine example of a Hardy Hercules brass fly reel in 4" size. RHW. Nice brass finish with a lovely patina and the reel is in excellent condition overall, with the only exception being that the waisted foot has some bending at either end (I suspect that it could be bent back in careful hands). The front plate has the Hardy stamp and rod-in-hand logo right underneath it. The ivorine handle spins freely. The original owner's initials "RK" have been engraved on the backplate with some light tasteful engraving around it. The reel packs into a non-original green cordura pouch.
