An HL Leonard Duracane bamboo fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #6 line. Serial #2303. 4.1 ounces. Medium action. One tip is 1 1/2" short. This is one of the more sought after "green wrap" duracanes. Signs of modest use some grip soiling, a small amount of inner snake guide wear. Flamed and impregnated cane done in a three up node pattern. The grip is 6" long and fashioned to a medium cigar profile. The downlocking screwlock is the square thread type and the reel foot sockets into a nickel silver pocket cap stamped "HLL, HL Leonard Rod Co, Makers". The spacer is butternut. The rod packs into a yellow poplin bag with aluminum tube with brass fittings and the green Leonard data sticker.
