Leonard Duracane Fly Rod 8'6" 2/2 #6

A nice Leonard Duracane fly rod, 8'6", 2-piece, 2-tips, built for a #6 line. Serial number #3019. 3.9 ounces. 1975 or 1976 manufacture date. Good used condition. The grip has been cleaned and the guides show a modest amount of wear. There is a small amount of brassing to the ferrules and hardware. Medium slow action could also use a #5 line to speed it up a bit. The cane is impregnated and is a wheat straw color in a three up node pattern. The wraps are brown with black edges with an extra band of brown and black at the keeper, male ferrules, and tip tops. Ceramic stripping guide. The grip is a 6" long blunt cigar with an all cork seat consisting of an oxidized nickel silver ring and pocket cap. The cap is stamped "HLL, The HL Leonard Rod Co, Makers" in a cartouche. This rod is packed in a light brown bag with a stiffener and a brushed aluminum tub with a brass collar and top (the tube collar has a split which allows it slide slightly but should be easy to re-glue).
