Considered by Jack Charlton himself as his best work, the Charlton™ 8550C is known by anglers and collectors around the world for it's machining quality. The 8550C series follows the Charlton™Configurable approach, accommodating line weights 7 and above with four distinctively different spools sizes (each sold separately). The legendary sealed carbon fiber disk drag is self-adjusting and has over 9-square inches of surface area. A large arbor design gives the angler over 1 foot of line retrieve per revolution. Meticulously coated with a high-polished, deep black Type III anodized finish with matte reliefs. Fully machined from high-grade aluminum and steel.
