JD Wagner Patriot Series Bamboo Rod 7'9" 2/1 #5/6

For sale here is a Patriot Series bamboo rod from JD (Jeff) Wagner. 7'9" 2/1 for a 5 or 6 weight line. The rod was made with one tip as most of the Patriot rods are. The Patriot rods are built with the same care and attention to detail as the "Signature" series rods. Excellent condition, some wear on the varnish over the wraps. Cork is very clean. Nicely flamed rod. The rod also comes with the highest quality Super-Z style nickel silver ferrules, size 13/64, a top-grade nickel silver screw up-locking reel seat, orange agate stripping guide, semi-translucent chestnut brown silk wraps and hand rubbed, penetrating polymer finish. An excellent all around trout rod in a very versatile length with crisp, dry fly action. Original bag and tube. The rod weighs 4.75 oz. There is a repair wrap on the tip between the tip top and first guide.
