For sale here is a Patriot Series bamboo rod from JD (Jeff) Wagner. 8' 2/1 for a 5 or 6 weight line. The Patriot rods are built with the same care and attention to detail as the "Signature" series rods. Excellent condition. Nicely flamed cane, semi-translucent chestnut brown silk wraps and hand rubbed, penetrating polymer finish. Oxidized stripping guide. Cigar grip, only lightly soiled. Painted cap and ring reel seat over a cork spacer. Slight wear on the butt cap from fishing use. The rod also comes with the highest quality oxidized, Swiss style nickel silver ferrules, size 14/64. The fit is perfect. Rod weighs 4.05 oz. An excellent all around trout rod in a very versatile length with crisp, dry fly action. Original flannel bag and labeled tube.
