A rare little CW Jenkins bamboo fly rod, 6'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for what feels to me like a #3. Serial #6502. 3.1 ounces. Mint, unfished condition. The cane is lightly flamed with occasionally dark patterns, and done in a three up node pattern. The blank is either impregnated or oil finished. The main wraps are tan with a brown edge a the keeper only. The stripper, snake guides, and tip-tops are chrome. The swiss style ferrules are oxidized. The cork grip is 5 1/2 corks long and turned to a heavy medium cigar profile. The reel seat is an oxidized cap and ring with the flatted curly maple spacer having a coat of varnish. The poplin rod bag is tan and the all aluminum rod tube has the Jenkins data sticker affixed to it. It's very rare to find a Jenkins in this size!
