Jenkins GA80-56 Fly Rod 8' 2/2 #5

A nice CW Jenkins bamboo fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. Serial #GA80-56. Weighs 4.1 ounces. Full flexing action based on a Garrison taper. Wheatstraw color cane done in a three up node pattern. Near mint condition, no soiling to the grip and just the faintest hint of brassing to the inner snake guides. The wraps are brown with yellow edges and an extra band of purple at the keeper and male ferrule. The swiss style ferrules are oxidized as are the cork check and the seat hardware. The grip is done in a blunt cigar profile, 6" long and flowing smoothly into the cork reel seat. An oxidized pocket cap and ring comprise the reel seat hardware. The rod packs into an eggshell cloth bag and the all aluminum tube with the Jenkins data sticker.
