For sale here is a Lyle Dickerson Model 8014 Guide bamboo rod. 8', 2/2 for a 6 weight line. Built in 1953. Excellent restored condition. One tip is 3/8" short (made that way). The rod weighs 4 1/2 oz. Payne-style grip with down-locking hardware and walnut insert. Brown silk thread wraps with black edging. One tip has oxidized guides, the other two sections have bright guides. Typical Dickerson loop to loop style hookkeeper. Classic 3x3 Dickerson node pattern. The ferrule fit is good. The grip is slightly soiled. Varnish still in excellent condition except for a couple of chips (no hook digs). Comes with original bag, and original tube with black plastic cap.
