A very lightly used and well cared for 6'6" Hunt Pattern, 3-piece for a #3 line. Flawless spar varnish, three up node pattern with mirror tips. Flamed cane. May rose wraps with orange edges. All wraps varnished. High speed steel snake guides with an oxidized black stripping guide. Oxidized black truncated swiss-style ferrules with a collar on the male ferrules and slant knurl set in the collar. Very minute touches of brassing on ferrules. Ferrule fits are excellent. Unusual nickel silver ferrule plugs. Medium blunt cigar grip, 4 1/2" (9 cork) grip is lightly soiled. Varnished walnut cap and ring reel seat. Some brassing to rear cork check oxidation and cap and ring at the edges. No die stamp on cap indicates this was a fairly early rod of mine (but not the earliest style rod, as I used wooden lip seats at the outset). Fine tipped medium-fast rod action. All sections arrow straight. Tan poplin bag and polished aluminum brass topped tube. This rod is a real small-stream sweetheart.
