A nice Hardy Perfect salmon reel, 4" diameter and set up for RHW. Duplicated Mark II check. Excellent overall condition with normal cosmetic wear for a reel of its age but no meaningful defects that I could find. The leaded finish is intact throughout, and there is a little backing residue on the inner part of the spool. Ribbed brass foot approximately 3 9/16" in length. Ebonite handle. Nice smooth click and the reel has the large salmon pawls. The tension adjuster works as it should. The initials "JS" (Jimmy Smith - 1908-1960) are stamped on the inside of the winding plate. The spool is nice and tight with no wobble or play whatsoever. The reel packs into a leather zipper case. A fine example of this model.
