An Orvis Battenkill bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #7 line. Serial #67914. The rod weighs 4.8 ounces. Mint condition. Impregnated cane. Slow action. Flamed cane with light nodes done in a three up node pattern. Brown wraps with a carbide stripper and chrome guides. The step ferrules are oxidized. The grip is 6 1/2" long and shaped to a blunt cigar profile. Downlocking aluminum screwlock with a pocket cap. Walnut spacer. The rod packs into a green cloth bag and a gray frost coated aluminum tube with the Orvis data sticker in 100% original condition.
