An Orvis "Midge" model bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. Serial #75973 and the rod weighs 3.7 ounces on my scale. Slow action. Lightly used condition some soiling to the grip. Medium chestnut oven tempered cane done in a three up node pattern. Brown wraps with a carbide stripper and chrome snakes. The step ferrules are oxidized. The cane is impregnated and polished. The grip is 6" long and turned to a blunt cigar profile. The reel seat is an aluminum downlocking screwlock with a pocket cap and a walnut insert. The rod bag is green and the tube has the Orvis data sticker.
