An Orvis Battenkill bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #9 line. Serial #52364. Weighs 5.3 ounces. Modest used with minor hand soiling, some cosmetic casting cracks at the ferrules, and a minor hook nick on one of the tips. Medium to medium-slow action. Dark oven temper cane done in a three up node pattern. Brown wraps with a carbide stripper and chrome guides. The grip is 6 1/2" long and shaped to a slim cigar profile. The seat is a downlocking aluminum screwlock with an aluminum pocket cap over a walnut spacer. The ferrule fit is very good and the oxidation retains about 95% of the original. The rod packs into a grey cloth bag and an Orvis aluminum tube with the data sticker still legible.
