A nice Orvis Midge bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. Impregnated model. Serial number 69755, built in 1973. The original owner's name is inked on the rod along with the basic rod information. Medium dark cane done in a three up node pattern. Medium action. Excellent very lightly used condition. Apricot wraps throughout with chrome guides and tip tops. Oxidized ferrules. Hook keeper. 6" grip with a medium cigar profile that has a fairly strong taper to front. Aluminum downlocking screwlock reel seat over a varnished walnut spacer. The rod packs into a green cloth bag and an aluminum tube with the Orvis data sticker affixed to it.
