For sale here is a Payne Model 100H bamboo rod - 7'6" 2/2 for a 5 weight line (some like it with a DT4). The rod is in excellent plus restored condition. The restoration was performed by Steve Blake. All sections are full length and straight.

Chestnut silks tipped with gold and gold and purple tipping at the winding check and male ferrules. Crimson-colored agate stripping guide. Bronzed ring hook keeper. The reverse half wells grip measures 6" with only the slightest of handling marks. Bright aluminum up-locking reel seat over a Spanish cedar spacer. The locking ring features the Payne stamp. The blued nickel silver ferrules measure 12/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs an even 4 oz. Medium fast dry-fly action. Original bag and tube included.
