An excellent RD Taylor fly rod 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tip, built for a #5 line. Serial #25-5-277. Mint, uncast. Medium action. Wheat straw color cane built in a 2-up node pattern construction. Olive wraps. Carbide stripping guide. Step ferrules. Very nice varnish. Western-style 5 3/4" 12-cork grip. The paper is still on the grip. Uplocking screw lock with pared off slide. "R.D. Taylor, Maker" stamped into the slide. Keeper one flat right. This rod exhibits all the usual high standards of craftsmanship that Bob is known for. Original bag and tube with Bob's data sticker on it. Beautiful rod.
