A nice RL Winston bamboo fly rod, 6'6", 2-piece, 2-tip and built for what feels to me like a #4. Serial #1906 from the Bracket era. 2.6 ounces (the listed weight of 2 1/8 oz does not include the reel seat). Modest use with some light grip soiling and an area opposite the inscription where a hook dig has been expertly filled in. Medium action. Wheatstraw temper cane done in a three up node pattern. Superb varnish. Tan or yellow wraps with cinnamon accents at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. The grip is 6" long and shaped to a western profile. The reel seat is all cork and slightly flatted with a nickel silver ring and formed pocket cap. All rod sections are straight and the ferrule fits are good. Comes in a red cloth bag with the Winston logo patch and a bronze anodized aluminum tube with brass fittings and a Montana Winston sticker.
