For sale here is a R.L. Winston 8' 5wt 2/2 bamboo rod from the Morgan/Brackett Montana-era. The rod is in excellent original condition. Serial #2116. All sections are full length and straight. Blonde straw colored cane with honey colored wraps. Burgundy tipping at the ferrules, winding check, and tip-tops. Western style grip with some soiling and very slight ridging. Aluminum down-locking reel seat. Ferrules are size 12/64 and the fit is perfect. Weighs 4 1/8 oz. Medium-fast dry-fly action. Includes original bag and tube.
