For sale here is a Lew Stoner-era Winston bamboo rod - 8'6 for a 5 or 6 weight line. Two sections with one tip. Scripted weight 4 1/2 oz. Actual weight 4 3/8 oz. Excellent original condition, both sections are full length and straight. Blonde, straw colored cane. Champagne colored silks with maroon tipping at the winding check, signature wrap, ferrules, and tip-top. Wells grip is very clean with very slight ridging. Down-locking bakelite reel seat is in very nice condition. Size 14/64 ferrules fit together perfectly. Medium-fast action with a nice bit of backbone. An excellent rod for larger waters where wind and heavy fish are the norm. Serial #7358. Comes with original bag and tube with label 95% intact.
