8’6” 2/2 R.L. Winston, San Francisco. 3 3/4 oz. Medium action for a DT4/WF5. Made in 1968. Gary Howells built the rods almost from start to finish during this period with the exception of the varnishing which was done by Doug Merrick. Tan wraps with burgundy accents at ferrules, tip-tops, hook keeper. Wells grip with bakelite reel seat. Original red bag and labeled tube. The rod is very lightly fished.
