For sale here is an R.L. Winston 8'6" 7wt 2/2 bamboo fly rod. The rod is in excellent plus condition. Honey wraps over blonde cane. Burgundy tipping at winding check, signature wrap, ferrules, and tip-tops. This color scheme gives the rod an understated elegance. Wells grip with very slight soiling. Up-locking reel seat over a fine cream colored burl-wood spacer. Agate stripping guide. Blued guides. Ferrule size 14/64 with an excellent fit. The rod weighs 5 1/8 oz. Comes with original bag and tube. Serial #4196 made in 2012. This would make an outstanding rod for big western rivers where big dries and streamers are often thrown.
