For sale here is a very special Haig-Brown "Greased Liner" commemorative rod. An R.L. Winston 9' 7/8wt bamboo rod made by Glenn Brackett. #7 of only 27 made. The rod is in unused condition. The Peerless 5A reel from the same commemorative set can be found for sale separately here.
The rod features exceptional blonde cane with caramel wraps and deep burgundy tipping at the winding check, signature wrap, ferrules, and tip-tops. Blued guides. Beautiful bamboo winding check. Full wells grip with only the lightest of soiling. Nickel silver uplocking reel seat with beautiful figured burlwood spacer and fighting butt. "Haig-Brown Commemorative" is etched into the bottom of the buttcap along with a Salmon emblem.

It's the perfect outfit for swimming greased-line wet flies and somber waking dries in clear summer flows for steelhead and Atlantic salmon.
