A very nice HS "Pinky" Gillum "Custom Built" bamboo fly rod, 9'6", 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for what feels to me like a #9 or #10. Serial #604. Excellent used condition with very light bag impression and alligatoring on the butt but not seen on the tips and mid. Fast DF action. Brown main wraps with black, yellow, and black edges at the male mid and butt keeper. "HS Gillum" is inked one flat right and "Custom Built" two flats right. Two opposed spiral node pattern in the butt but not in the mid and tips. Perfection stripper and high arch snake guides. The step ferrules are oxidized jet black. The grip is 7 1/2" long and turned to a Western style with a hidden pocket cap. The uplocking screwlock has no stamp. The seat has a nickel silver finial ferrule insert in the bottom for the 3 1/2" long fighting butt of tapered aluminum and a red rubber button. The rod packs into the original brown cloth bag and Gillum's hand tooled brass and aluminum rod tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
