Scott F2 Fiberglass Fly Rod 7'7 4wt

For sale here is a Scott F2 fiberglass rod. Model 774/3 -- 7'7" 3 piece rod for a 4 weight line. Serial no. 451636. The rod is in mint condition with the original plastic shrink wrap still on the grip.

Handsome yellow glass blank that is reminiscent of fiberglass' golden age. Deep golden wraps with bright guides. Black witness marks at the spigot ferrules. Loop style hook keeper. Western grip with burled cork section at the top, a hallmark of many of Scott's rods. Uplocking black anodized aluminum reel seat with cork spacer. Weight is 2.65 oz.

The rod has a brilliant medium-fast action that is crisp, delicate, and silky smooth. F2's load deeply under the pull of small fish, transmitting tons of feel.
