A Sweetgrass Mantra model quad bamboo fly rod, 7'9", 3-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #4/5 line. Serial #14-017. Made as a one-tip rod. Lightly used condition. Medium semi parabolic action. The cane is tempered to a light wheatstraw color and the node pattern is two opposed. The varnished butt shows some glue seams but they are not open and do not affect the working quality of the rod. The wraps are copper brown with black edges at the ferrules and tip tops. The mid has a slight downward set. The tip has a very few minor varnish chips. SRMC #10 carbide stripper and dark snake guides. The grip is 6" long and lightly sculpted to a full wells profile. The downlocking screwlock is black anodized aluminum with opposed pocket caps. The spacer is varnished koa. The rod bag has pockets for only one tip. The rod packs into a brown painted aluminum tube with the Sweetgrass logo.
