A nice Ted Godfrey Salmon reel, approximately 4" in diameter and set up for RHW. The reel weighs 11.9 ounces on my scale. The internal frame width is approximately 1.65", providing plenty of capacity. Excellent, lightly used condition with some very minor rubbing and cosmetic wear to the nickel silver rims, but that's about it. The sideplates, foot, drag adjuster, crank, and so forth are all exceptionally clean. Offset foot. The aluminum spool has a slightly tiered design. The original owner and his spouse's name are engraved on a small plaque that's affixed to the reel and which can be removed or replaced by undoing its two corresponding screws. The drag is adjusted by a lever on the backplate with ten positions, and the drag is very stout indeed on the heaviest setting. The reel packs into a handsome fleece-lined leather Arne Mason case with Ted's logo embossed on the top. A nice benchmade reel that's ready for your spey rod.
