A Thomas and Thomas Classic bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 1-tip, built for a #3 line. Serial #5748. The rod weighs 3.3 ounces. The rod was made as a one tipper, as there is only one tip pocket in the rod bag. The rod is in mint condition. The impregnated cane has been flamed with a bit of tiger striping. The nodes are all three up. The main wraps are brown with alternating edges of light brown, dark brown, and black (at the ferrules and keeper). The T&T swiss ferrules have the collar on the males and are oxidized jet black. The grip is a medium large cigar comprised of 1/4" corks. The cap and ring seat has oxidized hardware and is a perfectly varnished smoky veined walnut. However, you will need to use a thick foot reel as a Hardy Featherweight (which I used to test fit) is rather loose as the flat of the spacer has been cut down fairly far. The rod packs into a tan cloth bag with a stiffener and a black crackle painted tube with brass hardware and the T&T data sticker.
