An excellent Thomas & Thomas Paradigm fly rod, 7', 2-piece, 2-tip, built for a #4 line. Serial #3665. Weighs 3.2 oz. Semi full flexing action, but not slow. This rod is in used but well cared for condition. The grip is hand soiled, the reel seat has some small foot impressions. The oxidation on the cap and ring is about 60% of new, the rear cork check is at 0%, the front 35%, and the ferrule oxidation is a bit blotchy. The varnish is hard and the 1 hook dig on the butt does not appear to go through to the bamboo. Oven tempered cane with a three-up node pattern. Transparent wraps with light brown edges, darker brown at the ferrules. There is an extra band of black at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. The serial # is lettered at the base of each tip and on the butt wrap flat. There is a large swelled butt and a medium cigar grip 10 corks or 5". The reel seat is a cap and ring with a walnut spacer that has been flatted and nicely varnished. The butt cap has the "Thomas & Thomas, Makers" roller die in a cartouche. The female swiss ferrule also has a tiny T&T logo stamp in a circle cartouche. The rod packs into the original bag and brass cap tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
