A nice Tom Morgan Rodsmiths graphite fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #2 line. I think it would also fish a #3 well too. Lettered with the maker, length and line weight, and the serial "96-2-12" on the butt. Faster, though delicate, action. Near mint condition with just a few tiny traces of use. The sleeve over ferrule fits nicely and the rod's finish is excellent. Wrapped in very dark burgundy which appears almost black against the black, and tipped in gold at the front cork check, signature wraps, female ferrule, and tip top. Bright agate stripper with chrome guides and tip-top the rest of the way. The rod has a keeper as well. 6" long half wells grip with octagonal bright cork checks fore and aft. Bright cap and ring hardware over a handsome maple birdseye spacer with a matte finish. As usual, the TMR medallion makes up the bottom of the cap. The rod packs into a padded purple bag with paisley style trim, and a heavy octagonal rod tube with a larger medallion making up the top of the screw cap.
