Tom Morgan Graphite Fly Rod 9' 4/1 #6

A nice Tom Morgan Rodsmiths graphite fly rod, 9', 4-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #6 line. This rod was built by TMR's new owners and is in near mint condition, with just a hint of hand soiling indicating that it's been used a few times. I could find no other meaningful signs of use. The maker name and rod specs are inked on the butt, along with the serial number 21-6-13. Dark blank wrapped in a dark burgundy with gold tipping at the front cork check, signature wraps, on either side of the first ferrule, and at the tip top. Spigot ferrule design. Fast, powerful action. Agate stripper with chrome guides and tip top. The grip is 6 1/4" and shaped to a western profile. The reel seat is an uplocking screwlock with a hidden pocket cap under the rear hexagonal grip check, done over a stabilized wood spacer. The TMR medallion makes up the bottom of the butt cap. The rod packs into a tan cloth bag and a red composite rod tube with the TMR logo on the outside and gold anodized aluminum fittings (the rod specs are also stated on the top of the tube cap.
