William Olson Sealed Drag Multiplier Fly Reel 4"

A very nice salmon reel by William Olson of Murray, Utah. 4" diameter, with an approximate 1 1/2" internal frame width. Sealed disc drag model. Serial #254. Set up for LHW. This reel is in good used condition with a moderate amount of rim rash on the frame edges but fairly clean otherwise. Very light champagne anodized frame and spool with black anodized sideplates. The foot and serpentine handle are silver anodized. Nickel silver counterweight. In a nod to the House of Hardy Cascapedia reels Olson's model has 2 nickel silver medallions inset on the crank side plate. One states "William R Olsen, Maker, Murray, Utah" and the other has the reel dimensions, owner's name, serial number (my understanding is that Mr. Olson can punch out the medallion and replace it with one for the new owner). The drag system on this reel adjusts smoothly from very light to very heavy, thanks to the sealed disc system which utilizes carbon on titanium. This reel is a 2:1 multiplier. The reel comes with an Arnie Mason leather bag. A nice opportunity here to grab a reel without the significant waiting time that Mr. Olson has generated for new reel orders.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Other Terms
- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
