For sale here is an Abel No. 2 fly reel. Serial no. 7347. Made in the U.S.A. The reel is in mint condition. The cork drag is smooth and strong. Easily convertible from right-hand wind to left-hand wind though it is currently set up for LHW. Hi-gloss black color with a walnut handle. The spindle and counterbalance have a very light, almost imperceptible blue tint to them. Abel reels are known for their quality and craftsmanship. The reels are the perfect intersection of classic reel design with modern innovations. Reel weighs 7.25 oz. Diameter: 3.30". Spool width: 1.080".
