For sale here is an Abel Pt. 5 fly reel in a glossy black finishl. Serial no. 1486. Made in the USA. The reel is in excellent condition though it does have some light wear on the rim of the frame and spool. The cork drag is smooth and strong. Left-hand wind only. Abel reels are known for their quality and craftsmanship. The reels are the perfect intersection of classic reel design with modern innovations. Reel weighs 6.65 oz. with line and backing. Diameter: 3". Though specified as a 5-6wt reel a 4 weight line would also be well suited with the reel. Loaded with WF4F line and backing in like new condition.
