For sale here is an Abel Super 8 fly reel. Serial no. 17284. Made in the USA. The reel is in excellent+ condition with only a few very insignificant marks to the finish. As one would expect, the drag is smooth and strong with a large range of resistance. Reversible retrieve, currently set up for left. Rosewood handle. Ported frame and spool for weight reduction. Abel reels are the perfect intersection of classic style and modern innovations. Weight 8.90 oz. Diameter 3 7/8". Spool width 1 1/8". Original Abel pouch included.
