An Aroner Hunt Pattern fly rod here, 7' 3-piece, 2-tip built for a #4 line. 98% Mint (there is a tiny bit of hand soil to grip and a micro bit of edge rub to oxidized butt cap). Fast DF action. Oxidized Swiss ferrules with collar, recessed knurl and two trim marks. Olive silk wraps, red edges, and signature wraps. Agate stripper. Flamed cane with 3 up node pattern. Small hand pressed nodes. Perfect spar varnish coat. Mortise cap and ring reel seat. Dark stained maple burl wood. All hardware oxidized. "Aroner, Maker" die stamp on the butt cap. This rod has my early version ferrule plugs and rod tube. A great condition precision fishing instrument here, perfect for small creek dry fly fishing.
