For sale here we have a spool of vintage Belding Corticelli #5555 (brown) silk winding thread. The spool is 10 yards, size D. Though rarely seen on classic American rods, this larger size of thread was commonly used by European rodmakers such as Hardy and Pezon et Michel. It is unused new-old-stock in like new condition on a wooden spool.
