A Charles Neuner bamboo fly rod, 8', 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. 4.8 ounces. #0332. Medium to slow action. Lawn cast with a hint of brassing to the inner snake guides. The cane is flamed and the nodes are two-opposed. The main wraps are dark maroon with black edges. The stripping guide is a red agate and the snake guides are bronze. The varnish is excellent, all sections are straight, and the ferrule fits are good. The ferrules are swiss-style and oxidized. They are fitted with small finial aluminum and cork ferrule plugs. The cork grip is 6" long and cut to a western style profile with a hidden pocket cap. The reel seat is a small all nickel silver uplocking screwlock and the mortised wood spacer is a stabilized redwood burl. The rod comes with a khaki colored cloth bag and a brown painted aluminum tube with a gold anodized aluminum collar and top. The top has Charles roller die stamp in a cartouche and " 8'0" 3PC 5WT " engraved in the top.
