Charlton 8450C Reel with a 5/6 Spool

A nice Charlton 8450C fly reel with a 5/6 spool. Set up for RHW but can be easily reversed to LHW.  Mint, unused condition. Serial number "8450-10900". Exceptional quality and the intelligent configurable design that these reels were known for. With the quick change of a spool you can alter both the weight of the reel and line with appropriate backing capacity, and swap in one of the 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8 weight options. Carbon fiber disk drag system. Type III anodization for maximum saltwater protection. Oversized 5/8" smooth-riding aerospace bearing with a complete enclosure of all mechanical components to protect against contamination from the elements. The reel packs into the original green cordura pouch and the original box with paperwork.
