Cummings, Vince -- 8' 2pc 5-6wt Boron/Graphite Rod - Limited Edition

For sale here is a custom made Vince Cummings Boron/Graphite "Limited Edition" 8' 2-piece 5-6wt fly rod. Model number FL-800. The rod is in excellent+ condition with the plastic still on the grip.  Sanded boron/graphite blank. Golden colored wraps. Ceramic stripping guide. The script features the original owner's name along with the rod information. Western-style grip 6" with the plastic still in place. There is a bit of water and handling marks around and under the plastic. Handsome nickel silver up-locking reel seat with elegant engravings over a beautifully figured mortised wood spacer. The butt cap is engraved with a rope pattern around the edge with a fishing hook in the middle. Spigot ferrules with a 1/4" gap to allow for wear over time. The rod weighs 3.80 oz. The powerful fast action is a bit slower than most graphite rods, allowing for more feel, delicacy, and precision -- a wonderful balance of speed, power, and feel.
