Cummings, Vince -- "The Elf" One-Piece Fiberglass Fly Rod Made for Arnold Gingrich

For sale here is a very special and rare rod from Vince Cummings "The Elf" - 6' 3wt one-piece fiberglass fly rod. Model number FL-360. Custom made in 1974 for Arnold Gingrich.

The rod is in excellent, lightly-used condition. The rod features an unvarnished tangerine colored glass blank with dark cinnamon wraps. The signature wrap is blue, gold, and red. Bright guides. U-shaped hook keeper. The script remains clean and bold. Along with the rod info it reads, "Custom Made for Arnold Gingrich 3-1-74". A rather thin, tapered cigar grip 5 1/2" in length with slight soiling. Aluminum dual ring reel seat over a cork spacer with a walnut butt cap. There is light wear to the butt cap. The rod weighs a svelte 1.45 oz. Medium fast action.
