For sale here is a Diamondback "Classic Trout" 9' 4-5wt 4 pc. DGS700 graphite fly rod. The rod is in near mint condition. The rod features a unique woven graphite pattern with burgundy wraps and bright guides. Spigot ferrules for a better transfer of energy through the sections. The ferrules fit together nice and tight as they should with a 1/4" gap to account for wear over time. White witness marks for easy alignment. Ring hook keeper. Garrison-style, straight tapered cigar grip. The cork shows only slight soiling and water marks. Bright nickel silver uplocking reel seat over a mortised wood spacer. The rod weighs 3.55 oz. The action is terrific, on the medium side of medium-fast and with a great deal of feel. This type of action lends itself well to finesse casting dry flies and provides excellent tippet protection. A wonderful all-around rod. Includes original bag and labeled tube.
